2016: A Year in Review

2016 was quite a year in the Bella offices! With over 20 weddings and events over the course of the year, we were thrilled to spend our year celebrating so much love and such fabulous couples. From Keystone to Beaver Creek to Aspen, Colorado was our playground, and you can bet we had a blast bringing all of these amazing events to life! Here’s a little peek into what we were up to over the past 12 months. We can’t wait to see what 2017 has in store! Continue reading

Zulu Love Letter: A Styled Shoot in Breckenridge

This winter, our planner Samantha gathered together a fabulous team and created a shoot inspired by her childhood in Zimbabwe and how her past influences her understanding of love. Her Zulu Love Letter, based on the beaded messages Zulu maidens weave as they dream of romance, is a story of strength, softness, warmth, color, and organic elements that will change the way you look at the world around you. 2015: An Amazing Year in Review

What a year 2015 was! We had 20 weddings between April and December, and had the absolute pleasure of celebrating with couples from across the country. We had the honor of planning the first same-sex wedding at Beaver Creek Chapel, … Continue reading

A Rustic Elegant Wedding at TenMile Station

When Kelsey and Mark came to me to plan their wedding, the first thing they told me was that they wanted to be married outdoors. They’ve visited Breckenridge countless times, and have such an appreciation for the mountains we’re nestled in, so we knew we needed to highlight how beautiful everything would be in late August. Continue reading

A Sunny September Wedding in Crested Butte

Planning Suzanne and Anthony’s wedding was a blast. They’re locals, but her family is from the Windy City, so they celebrated their mountain home and also threw a bash worthy of her city roots. It was a destination wedding the way a destination wedding should be: a weekend filled with lots of activities, amazing food, and great company, all capped off with a spectacularly sunny ceremony and an all-night party. Sarah and Carlos’s Wedding at the Beaver Creek Chapel and Saddle Ridge

Best wishes to Sarah and Carlos on their gorgeous wedding in Beaver Creek! This is one of the nicest families I have ever encountered and I am so happy for them. Sarah and Carlos envisioned a winter wedding that celebrated the beauty of Colorado, so they chose Saddle Ridge for their reception. This property houses the country’s largest private collection of Western art. Throughout the venue one can find everything from vintage copper plates, first edition books, and native head dresses to antique bars, billiards and chaise lounges. This is a gem of a venue and provides a truly unique experience. I loved Sarah’s incorporation of pheasant feathers into her birch centerpieces and silver cake stands mixed in with wood votives all presented on a simple ice blue linen runner on bare wood tables surround by an eclectic mix of wooden chairs. I also loved the snowflake accents throughout. . . I think this Texas and New Mexico crowd enjoyed their winter escape.  Big hug to the James Christianson film and photography team.
