Happy New Year’s Eve! In honor of this year coming to a close, I want to take a look back at where we’ve been and what we’ve done. It’s important to take a moment and appreciate all that has happened. This year (and every year), I’m so grateful for all of my wonderful clients. They truly make every day so special. With that, here is my NYE reflection on 2019.

Engage!

The first item on my list is the Engage! foundation. This year, we achieved 501c3 (nonprofit) status. This was a huge accomplishment and very exciting to work on. I also had the pleasure of speaking at the 2019 Engage! conference. I am looking forward to seeing all the good that our industry community will do together in 2020.

Sustainability program

This year I was able to consult on a project that is near and dear to my heart: a sustainable ranch wedding venue. I am very passionate about giving back and helping the industry become more earth-friendly. Being able to pioneer the sustainability program for a venue was incredibly special to me.

Travel

I traveled both professionally and personally to some truly amazing places this year including Europe, Mexico, and the Caribbean. Each destination was a wonderful experience that shaped great memories of 2019 and has provided me greater insight for my international destination wedding events to come.

Empowering girls

In 2019, I worked with the Lindsey Vonn Foundation to empower girls. This was yet another special experience, one that I have been lucky enough to be a part of for many years. This year, I was even able to include my own daughter, which added to the sentiment, not just for me, but for my family too.

Weddings

Last, but certainly not least, we were a part of so many incredible weddings (and corporate events!) this year. I am so beyond grateful for so many amazing clients who I am honored to work with and also call friends. The families who have allowed us into their lives this year are truly special to me and I’m lucky to have met the people I have, through the work I do.

Here are a few photos and small snippets of these events. There are many more out there and I am sending love and kisses to all of those clients!

How gorgeous is this invitation suite? The floral elements and font create such an elegant look.

The backdrop for this ceremony was absolutely breathtaking! The green and white altar paired with minimalistic decor let the natural scenery shine.

The florals we used for this wedding were spectacular. The pinks and purples really complimented the green scenery.

This cake was stunning with its multiple tiers and soft florals.

We created this elegant reception with neutral tones, draped fabric, and simple metallic touches.
