I’m back with more from my recent trip to Napa Valley. As much as I adore Colorado, it’s always wonderful to get out and explore a bit further afield, get inspired and scout new properties for our clients. In this case, we experienced several amazing locations for a destination wedding in Napa Valley. Not to mention getting to hang out for a few days with a wonderful group of industry friends old and new, eating delicious food, sipping on fine wines and sharing insights on the business of weddings. Take me back!
After an incredible first full day in wine country, I didn’t think our second day could get any better! But of course our hosts, Elan Artists, exceeded all expectations! We headed off on our wine touring in style, riding in classic 1947 Packard convertible limousines from CC Wine Tours. This would be such a great guest activity for a destination wedding in Napa Valley. Our first stop was Quintessa winery, a spectacularly beautiful estate best known for its Cabernet. Then it was on to Mountain Estate Retreat, where we had an amazing outdoor lunch. The food was wonderful, but the view… wow!
That evening, we gathered for a farewell meal at our hotel, Solage. A bucket list destination in Napa Valley, Solage is as relaxing as it is luxurious. It would make a memorable wedding venue for a modern couple looking to show their guests the best Napa has to offer! We enjoyed a sumptuous meal at a table decked with flickering candles and flowers the colors of a California sunset.
And the entertainment! Elan blew me away (again). Singers, dancers, cabaret performances… All against a glittering mirrorball stage backdrop. Plus a DJ who kept us on the dance floor long into the night. Elan Artists gave us an experience that won’t soon be forgotten!

And of course, big hugs to all my lovely friends who shared the experience with me! I can’t wait to go back to Napa, I’m already dreaming of a wine country Bella wedding!
