2019 is starting off to be a busy, busy year! We’ve got more exciting news to share about one of our projects on the horizon. The national bridal magazine and website, The Knot has just announced their 2019 wedding educators and I’m honored to be among the group! Our team is part of a new program where veteran wedding industry experts help other wedding industry peers grow their business, focus on a mission that’s important to them, and do better for themselves, their clients and their communities. The Knot Pro will be hosting events around the country for wedding professionals to learn and connect and I’ll be attending several of them to teach and share my experiences as a destination wedding planner and my non-profit work and involvement.
I’m so excited for this program to begin. Not only will I get the opportunity to meet so many more wonderful wedding pros in different cities but The Knot will be posting some of the content we create online too. I’ll be discussing the work we do for destination wedding couples but also my expertise as a social entrepreneur that focuses on solutions to societal issues using the creativity and generosity of the wedding industry. This is such an important part of my work and I’m elated to roll up my sleeves this year and do more to make an impact for causes and people I care about.
