An Elegant Navy-and-Gold Wedding at the Ritz

For Ashley Steitz and Neil Plamp, having a winter wedding here in Colorado was a no-brainer. Ashley grew up spending Christmases with her grandparents in the Vail Valley, and Neil (a Kentucky native) loved the idea of introducing his family to such a special place. They invited their nearest and dearest for a four-day wedding weekend in Beaver Creek, capped off with a spectacular celebration at the Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch on February 2nd, 2017. From the absolutely elegant fashion to the dramatic navy blue and white palette with custom details, the celebration was almost as stunning as the couple themselves. And boy, did we have fun! From Ashley’s dance party with her bridesmaids before she put on her gorgeous Vera Wang gown to the packed dance floor that rocked all night, Neil and Ashley celebrated in style, and we were thrilled to be a part of it!

We adored all of the personalized touches in Ashley and Neil’s invitation suite, from the floral monogram to the gold mountains on the invitation liner.

No matter how many weddings we’ve produced, some moments will always be emotional. Ashley and Neil’s first look had us wiping away happy tears! In a stunning Vera Wang gown, it’s no surprise Ashley took Neil’s breath away.

There was so much joy at this wedding. They say guests take a cue from the bride and groom, and Ashley and Neil’s guests definitely did — no one stopped smiling all night!

Cori Cook and Pink Monkey knocked it out of the park with the reception tables. We loved getting to turn Ashley’s romantic vision into a reality, and fell for the timeless white, gold, and navy palette. The pops of blue were fresh, fun, and the perfect masculine-meets-feminine touch.

As soon as the band started, Neil and Ashley were on the dance floor, and they never left. What better way to kick off a marriage?

It was a dream to work with this sweet couple and to play a role in their gorgeous wedding day. Ashley and Neil, we love you and wish you all the best!
