While we love Colorado — it is, of course, the place we call home! — there’s so much more to the mountains than just our state. Those spectacular views, the warm hospitality, and the hidden spots perfect for celebrating love and romance abound across the West, and getting out to explore and celebrate all over this amazing part of our country is one of our team’s favorite things to do. At the top of our list of places we’re dying to work, just a few hours north of the Bella office, is the absolutely gorgeous Brush Creek Ranch in Saratoga, Wyoming.

With history as a cattle ranch dating back to 1884, Brush Creek Ranch is now a collection of three exclusive lodging properties set on a 30,000 acre working ranch. How’s that for privacy? The rolling hills, river valleys, and lush forests that make up the property are nestled between the Sierra Madre Mountains and the Medicine Bow National Forest, just the place to escape in true luxury and treat your guests to an experience they’ll never forget.

The Ranch’s three lodging options offer something for everyone. The Lodge & Spa at Brush Creek Ranch is the heart of the property, with a mix of lodge rooms and cabin suites for up to 150 guests. The Magee Homestead, a collection of nine luxury cabins, sleeps up to 24, and the entire homestead can be rented for an intimate and private retreat. Ideal for a bachelor party, French Creek Sportsman’s Club has room for 12 and is the perfect starting point for fishing, hunting, and horseback adventures.

Whether heading out for your honeymoon or cozying in after a night of dancing as newlyweds, the Elk Hollow Cabin Suite at the Magee Homestead is a favorite. This one-bedroom cabin combines the rustic simplicity of a 1900s homestead with luxe modern amenities, the perfect place to celebrate your newly married status. Warm up in front of the stone fireplace, snuggle in the canopied bed, or watch the sun set on the porch. It’s truly rustic romance at its finest!

Speaking of weddings, we can’t think of a better escape for a couple looking to give their guests a taste of the Wild West, while still treating them to all sorts of comforts and pampering. A full buyout gives you access to the entire Lodge, while the Magee Homestead is the perfect place for an elopement or super-intimate celebration (and also includes its own spa and pool!). Whether doing a buyout or simply booking a stay, the Ranch’s all-inclusive nature makes a getaway easy: Meals, premium beers, wines, and spirits, and on-ranch activities are included!515-ddf8b9b2270d504d9255e85118b0a7da

Give your guests a taste of ranch life with Brush Creek Ranch’s take on adult summer camp, filling your wedding weekend with fly fishing, cattle drives, sunrise yoga, clay shooting and hunting, and two state-of-the-art spas (one at the Lodge & Spa, the second at the Magee Homestead). After a day full of activities, indulge in their chef’s fresh, seasonal fare, including ranch-raised wagyu beef. Or gather ‘round for family-style barbecue at the Chuckwagon.

Come wedding day, exchange vows in the natural stone amphitheater of the wedding garden, with the Medicine Bow Mountains behind you. Or head indoors to the Cowboy Chapel, the ranch’s old hayloft now updated with floor-to-ceiling windows and ready to transform into the Dance Hall as soon as you’ve said “I do.” Of course, with 30,000 acres around you, the options for a wedding in nature are nearly endless, too! Sip cocktails in the Saloon, dine in the Lodge, pitch one of the property’s luxury tents, or celebrate al fresco beneath the Wyoming sky.

No matter how you choose to visit, Brush Creek Ranch is a mountain destination not to be missed, and we can’t wait for the chance to send a Bella bride down the aisle in the Cowboy State!
