Working in Aspen is always such a fantastic adventure, giving us a chance to visit some of our favorite vendors, explore the town’s stunning venues, and, of course, celebrate with incredible couples! Kristina and Patrick had a sweet, intimate wedding (with only 29 guests, including four of the cutest flower girls we’ve ever seen!) at one of our favorite spots — the Aspen Wedding Deck! Perched high atop Aspen Mountain, the views are ones you can’t get anywhere else in the world, and it makes for a totally show-stopping ceremony backdrop. Equally show-stopping was the reception, in the Gallery at one of Aspen’s top restaurants (and our favorite!), Element 47 at The Little Nell. This wedding left our hearts (and stomachs!) full, and has us counting the days ’til we can head over Independence Pass again!

Kristina’s outfit was totally to-die-for, from her oval-cut engagement ring, set in rose gold, to her sparkling Christian Louboutin pumps. But the best part was her custom wedding gown. The dress itself was actually her grandmother’s, and was reworked into a gorgeous fit-and-flare silhouette with sheer lace and beaded sleeves and a dramatic open back.
Told you these flower girls were cute! They wore matching lace dresses and gold ballet flats, and we had gummy bears hidden beneath their flower petals to help encourage them down the aisle!

Leon Joseph Littlebird officiated the ceremony, combining Native American traditions and the bride and groom’s personalized vows.
Inside the Gallery at Element 47, we set two long tables topped with gold sequin linens. Aspen Branch created beautiful all-white arrangements of hydrangeas, roses, and orchids in tall glass vases, as well as sweet bud vases of roses scattered between gold votive holders.
Dinner was served with a selection from The Little Nell’s incredible wine cellar, and dessert was a combination of regular and gluten-free cupcakes. We snuck a few ourselves — who knew gluten-free cupcakes could be so good?!

At the end of the night, after a bubbles send-off, the bride and groom took a carriage ride around town before rejoining their guests for an after-party at some of Aspen’s most popular bars. We love a bride who isn’t afraid to make the most of her wedding gown and wear it bar-hopping!
We loved every moment of our time in Aspen with Kristina and Patrick. Thank you so much to the amazing partners who brought the event together, and to Aspen for having us — we’ll be back soon!

I am an event planner located in Breckenridge, CO. I absolutely love my job and am amazed on a daily basis by the interesting work. Things I love. . . a job well done, Billy Collins poetry, discussing politics with my dad, reading historical fiction, listening to my children giggle, having martinis with my amazing girlfriends, trail running, simply being with my mom in any capacity, walking the streets of New York City and Paris, taking a full afternoon without interruption to prepare a dinner party, world music, John Coltrane, a bud vase of fresh flowers on my desk, telling stories with my huge family, listening to Neil Young around a campfire, going to concerts at Red Rocks, traveling to new places and always visiting at least one art gallery, going to the theatre, Broadway musicals are my favorite, being near a river and thinking, naps. . . being with my husband.
