In my mind the mountain winter wedding is IT, but it’s not for everyone. Blizzards, icy roads, vendors stuck in crazy weather, female guests wearing 6″ heels teetering on the outside paths, none of this necessarily sounds appealing. But to some, the adventure of hosting a winter wedding with the return of having a blanket of crystal snow glissening on the aspen tree branches and the mountain peaks is worth the risk. Emily and Joe are one couple in particular who couldn’t imagine having their wedding any other way, in any other season and at no other venue than the Keystone Ranch. Planning their wedding was a family affair. With sweetheart dad, Randy, and doting mom, Marna, we jumped into the throws of planning every detail. After many bottles of wine and months of planning together (we had some fun) the wedding day arrived and this is how it looked and felt. I have some favorite images but my all time favorite is of Randy the father of the bride, seeing his beautiful daughter. The love between this couple and this family is magical as was their wedding. Emily and Joe, thank you for including me in your wedding planning. I look forward to many more nights at Ember with your family!
