It’s fair to say that I made a serious girlfriend with Ashley McCune (now Shyver). Planning her wedding was nothing less than fun. From bonding over family, quality vodka options and how much to justify spending on a wedding dress, Ashley and I became fast friends. Brad is a dreamboat and when he’s holding his son it doesn’t get much better. I even brought my husband into the mix so we could all be friends. . . the menu tasting night left me with a hangover but it was worth it! I can’t wait to see them soon and play with their expanding family. Hugs to my sweet Kansas City couple!!! And a big smooch to Julie Harris for sharing her gift of photography.
The lovebirds taking a quiet (and quick) stroll near the Ritz Bachelor Gulch.
All guests and vendors must take a snow cat or sleigh to access Zach’s Cabin. It’s truly an adventure–be sure to dress warmly and carry your heels!
Ashley’s coat and dress combination were winter wedding perfection.
Frolicking in the snow as a family. Does it get any more beautiful?
From the look on Ashley’s face, it’s no secret that Camden is the light of his parents’ lives.
I loved the energy of Ashley and Brad. They were undaunted by anything and just kept giggling, even when their son started to dash away. He made it maybe ten feet.
One of my all time favorite photos. Pure love.
Burberry and Vera. Sigh.
Guests boarded a snow cat sleigh to head up to Zach’s Cabin. So fun!
Zach’s Cabin does not allow flames, so we utilized LED candles which gave off a surprisingly lovely glow!
The cabin has spectacular 360 degree view of the mountains.
Beautiful, beautiful, radiant Ashley.
This image reflects why I love my job. The parents of the groom being seated right before the ceremony. The father is doing everything in his power to stay stoic. He is an incredible man.
The minister is a friend of the family. Even he had to take a moment before he could begin.
A snowy creation by Sugar.
I wish the guests could have had more fun 🙂
It took some work to keep these groomsmen reeled in!
Mommy and son.
This should be their Christmas card.
Congratulations my friends!
